A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM OF TELEVISION & RADIO

(New York, NY) June 24, 2005 - Rex Trailer's Boomtown documentary film premieres at the Museum of Television & Radio in New York City. Rex was flown in by helicopter by childhood fans Evan Wile and Jesse Page. The broadcast master tape was presented to the museum to become part of the permanent collection. The film originally aired on WBZ in Boston on June 18, 2005, was nominated for an Emmy Award and received the MASS IMPACT AWARD at the 2005 Boston Film Festival.

On August 28, 2011, WGBH in Boston broadcasted the documentary as part of their annual pledge drive. "Rex Trailer's Boomtown" was produced and directed by Michael Bavaro.

Rex was joined on stage for a panel discussion by director Michael Bavaro and former side kick and actor Terrence (Cactus Pete) Currier. MTR Curator Rebecca Paller moderated.
